A Stunning Courthouse Wedding

It was a sunny Saturday, September 16th, at the jaw-dropping Allen County Courthouse. It’s all marble, gold, and mosaic vibes – the perfect backdrop for Nathan and Kaitlyn’s acquired taste, reflected in their classy wedding day!! Most people see the courthouse as an elopement-only venue- SO not true!! This is truly one of Fort Wayne’s hidden gems.

The excitement kicked off as Nathan and Kaitlyn prepped separately in the Courthouse. Kaitlyn’s crew was all about the dress steaming, final hair and makeup touches, while Nathan and his squad were wrestling downstairs with jackets and ties. The energy and nerves were buzzing, building up to the ultimate “I do” moment!

Kaitlyn stepped into a tear-filled first look with her dad before they headed down the isle together with the “thumbs up” as the ready sign!! It was a tearjerker, setting the stage for a non-traditional ceremony where Kaitlyn strutted down a flight of stairs instead of the usual aisle walk. Cue the nerves and happy tears!!

Nathan’s heart skipped a beat when he saw Kaitlyn in her stunning white gown. No dry eye people!!! The ceremony ended in cheers by friends and family alike as we began our way outside for all the wedding party and portrait moments Downtown Fort Wayne! Meanwhile the venue magically transformed the area for the reception.

Before the real shenanigans began, Nathan, Kaitlyn, and their crew gathered upstairs for a private dinner hosted by Catablu Grille. It was a moment for them to chill and soak it all in before the dance floor chaos!

Fast forward to the reception – epic entrances, first dances that tugged at the heartstrings, and speeches that had everyone laughing and crying!! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any crazier, Kaitlyn made a sneaky outfit and hair change, hitting the dance floor with Nathan for round two! Not to mention fake tattoos of Nathan’s face on the arm of a sister + bridesmaid!

The real chaos erupted when their friends and family hoisted Nathan and Kaitlyn in the air, crowd surfing them in celebration of the new bride + groom!! The whole night was a wild ride, and Nathan and Kaitlyn’s willingness to say “yes” to the wild things turned their wedding into an unforgettable, laughter-filled memory to last a lifetime.
