Love knows no bounds, and for Alisha and Andrew, it took them to the enchanting Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on a sunny Monday, September 25th. Bucking tradition with a dash of whimsy, this couple opted for an unconventional route, turning their special day into a magical memory at an all-inclusive venue. Get ready to dive into the delightful details of a wedding day that was anything but ordinary!!
Morning Antics: The day began with Alisha and her best friends taking over the Maxwell Mansion. Mimosas flowed freely, laughter filled the air, and the room was adorned with the hilariously large paper head cut out of the groom, Andrew! The morning was chill, with the girls relishing every moment, capturing spontaneous Polaroids of anything and everything!
Meanwhile, in the Mansion’s basement – rumored to be haunted – the guys were carving their own path. Playing cards and eagerly awaiting the day’s festivities, Andrew and his crew took it easy before beginning the festivities!
The emotional journey kicked off with Alisha sharing intimate first looks with her bridesmaids and her dad, setting the stage for the flood of happy tears that were to follow. As anticipation built, the final of the first looks concluded with Andrew- and his love for her was seen without a doubt 🥹 They then shared private vows just between the two of them and cherished the moments before the big I Do!! We wandered the property and captured all the character the Mansion had to offer!
Before the eyes of their closest friends and family, the ceremony was a small and intimate affair, graced with a unity sand ceremony that beautifully symbolized the blending of the two of them. Sealed with a kiss, the couple officially became Mr. and Mrs. Oprisek, marking the next chapter of their extraordinary journey together!!!
We jumped right into the celebration: cake cutting, heartwarming speeches, and the magical first dances unfolded by candlelight, creating an atmosphere of pure enchantment. The evening flowed seamlessly, with a buffet and cake for all, complemented by spontaneous dance moves (shout out to Kristen!) that added an extra layer of joy to the festivities 💃🏼
Steering away from the traditional, they created a day that was uniquely theirs – filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments. This non-traditional Monday became the canvas for a love story that will be cherished for a lifetime!!! And yes- you can get married on a weekday!! Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Oprisek! ✨
