Picture this: October 28th, a crisp day at the Wooded Knot venue, where Emily and Tanner officially became the dynamic duo – Mr. and Mrs. Burns!!! It was the kind of day that makes you believe in all possibilities, with a love story that would put any cinematic masterpiece to shame.

Emily kicked off the day with her squad, and trust me, these girls knew how to bring the party!! The first look with the ladies was probably heard quite a ways away 😂 Meanwhile, Tanner and his groomsmen were having their own moments – videogames, music, and all the ties getting put into place.

Before the big “I Dos,” Emily and Tanner snuck away, praying back to back without actually seeing each other. A moment full of laughs and anticipation of the main event just around the corner!! As well as some tear filled first looks and soaking in the before moments.

Now, let’s talk venue. The Wooded Knot had both indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for the ceremony and reception. It’s one of my personal favorites in the Midwest- especially in October. All those leaves changing!!!!! And the ceremony wasn’t your average affair – it was a full-on worship session, complete with a foot-washing ceremony to symbolize their love and respect to serve one another on this day of union and beyond.

Cue the cheers and confetti – they were officially hitched! The witnesses cheers erupted as these two walked out as husband and wife. The wedding party knew how to strike a few poses as well 🥳

The first dances were watched intently– beautiful and a tad emotional. But don’t let the tears fool you; this crew knew how to bring the fun. The shoe game was the ultimate test of compatibility, and let’s just say, Emily and Tanner aced it.

Reception entrances were basically dance-offs, with choreography, props, and all the works. Salsa Grille fueled the party, and speeches from Emily’s dad, the Best Men, and the Maid of Honors brought on both the laughs and the feels.

The dance floor took center stage, witnessing moves that should probably come with a warning label. They danced the night away, and the grand finale? A sparkler tunnel exit into their car and off to their new chapter!!

So here’s to Emily and Tanner, the ultimate party-starters, and now, partners in crime for life. May your marriage be as fun, lively, and full of laughter as your wedding day at the Wooded Knot! Cheers to the Burns! 🎉💖
